RECAP: High Point Market Spring 25

Hello friends! We’re back from the Spring 2025 High Point Market, and it was every bit as inspiring as ever. From exciting product launches to thoughtful educational sessions, the long weekend was a perfect blend of design discovery and professional connection. We returned with new ideas, fresh finds, and lots of enthusiasm for the months ahead.

One of the biggest takeaways this season? It’s time to say goodbye to our solid, basic sofa!  Patterned sofas are having a moment—and we are fully on board. From vibrant florals to rich geometric prints, upholstery at Market was anything but shy. These statement pieces anchor a room beautifully and bring personality into even the most neutral palette. We saw countless rooms where a single patterned sofa transformed the entire space—and we’re already imagining how we’ll incorporate this trend into upcoming projects.

Another highlight was the fabulous Thibaut kickoff party. Thibaut always brings the energy, but this year’s gathering was especially joyful. Inside the showroom, their layered rooms were full of color, texture, and charm.  It was a wonderful reminder that design can be both elegant and fun.

A particularly memorable moment was meeting design icon Phoebe Howard at her book signing for The Waterfront House: Living With Style on the Coast. Her new book is a stunning celebration of refined coastal interiors, and we were thrilled to have our copy signed in person. You can purchase a copy here—it’s a beautiful addition to any coffee table or design library.

Lighting continues to push boundaries in creative ways. We were delighted by the growing popularity of “fandeliers”—clever ceiling fans that double as chandeliers. These pieces are both functional and beautiful, offering a stylish solution for rooms that need a breeze without sacrificing aesthetics. We also discovered a few new lighting vendors whose collections offer fresh options for our residential and commercial clients.

Sourcing ready-made furniture and accessories that don’t compromise on style has always been important to us, and this season we found even more exciting options. Several new vendors are offering beautifully designed pieces with shorter lead times—perfect for clients who want high style without the long wait. We were especially impressed with the debut of the Uttermost outdoor line. Their new collection brings a sophisticated touch to outdoor living, combining comfort, durability, and high design. These pieces will be ideal for patios, porches, and outdoor entertaining areas—we’re already planning to use several of them in upcoming projects.

Of course, one of our favorite parts of Market is getting to see the reps from each of our trusted lines. It’s always a treat to connect with the people behind the brands, talk shop, and preview what’s new. This year, we also had the opportunity to meet some of the designers behind the products, including the team at Fabricut, who just launched a new bold and playful trim collection. We can’t wait to use these colorful accents on custom pillows and curtains—they’re a perfect example of how small details can make a big impact.

And finally, we carved out time for professional development, too. One of the standout sessions we attended was on photographing interiors using just your Smart Phone. The instructor shared simple techniques to achieve professional results with the device in your pocket—a skill that’s invaluable for capturing our work quickly and beautifully, whether for social media or client portfolios.

We took lots of photos along the way, and we’d love to share them with you! You can view our full High Point Market photo album here on Facebook. All in all, High Point Spring Market left us energized and full of creative ideas. If you’re ready to bring any of these looks or trends into your space, we’d love to help. Let’s make something beautiful together.
