A Richmond native and a graduate from the University of Virginia, Michael has been designing custom interiors since 2003. He is President of the Richmond Chapter of the International Furnishing & Design Association for 2016, and previously worked creating unique soft furnishings for clients in central Virginia from Williamsburg to Wintergreen. He took over Cabin Creek in 2012 and has expanded its services to include full-custom interior design. Enthusiastic and creative, Michael is always looking for the best solution to solve any decorating and design dilemma and especially loves tackling challenging projects. The child of two designers (furniture and fashion), his love for the arts and interiors has been with him throughout his life.

Ali is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Interior Design. She has also studied at the Harrington College of Design in Chicago, IL. In her free time, Ali explores Richmond’s vast art, music, and food scene for design inspiration. She was Assistant Designer for Cabin Creek Interior’s rooms in Richmond Symphony Orchestra League’s 2014 and 2016 Designer Houses. Currently, Ali is serving as Vice President of Public Relations and Corresponding Secretary of the International Furnishing and Design Association, Richmond Chapter.
Gina is a graduate of the University of Richmond with a degree in Human Resource Management. She brings with her over 20 years of experience in small business management and customer service. Gina has worked in the contract furniture industry for the past ten years, where she has focused on logistics, installation, and sales service for the federal government and higher education sectors.
As a resident of the Midlothian community for 30 years, Gina spends her free time hiking, playing music, and volunteering.
